Bought seed potatoes this morning, 60 each of linzer delikatesse and daisy
Linzer delikatesse:
very early: 75 days from planting to harvest,
blight-resistant, yellow skin & flesh, waxy
Daisy:
semi early: 100 days from plantig to harvest,
blight-resistant, yellow skin & flesh, good for baking
These are now chitting in the pantry
POLYTUNNEL
This is the plan for the serre (polytunnel). We were given the arches by Paul & Tina Hale when they sold their farm at Kerodou.
Foundations - concrete layer and breeze blocks, with plastic pipes embedded to take the uprights. The foudation of concrete hasbeen poured and we are finishing laying the breeze blocks today.
